Hey, thanks for the nice travel account, very interesting! Lots of bars selling drink by the bucket? Stomach bug?? Yeah that does make sense....!
Hope you get better soon so you can join the rest of the gang on the razz!!

Folks, this made me laugh out hard, so I got to share it.... you all know it's true:

With this I wish you all great gaming and lots of fun & belly-laffs in SW:TOR - I shall be joining you in our next adventure (GW2 hopefully!).

Happy Ding-Day good Sir! :D
I posted that on Facebook as many of my friends are gamers. Good discussion here!
@Max - I understand your point and agree with you to a certain extent, but if nothing else, peer pressure would be so immense on your child that you would eventually cave in and buy him/her a computer. You wouldn't subject your child to being ostracised for not being with the gang. The practicalities of rearing your own kid often leave all good theroy fall by the wayside. I believe it's all fine in good measure and with adequate parental supervision.
My son ...
hey, a toast! :thumb: darn I miss those beer-drinking smilies from the old site... :(
Hah that is a strange date all right. Not too concerned here myself as I will likely give it a miss anyways, but I guess it's done purely for (pre-order) box sales for Xmas.
Regarding the support/servers, I guess it's all the same if you run them from Hindu or Muslim countries :P
Serbiter, it would be rude, yes - but all you need is a good excuse, like some mysterious and horribly contageous disease that befalls you suddenly... result :)
Judging by what I saw at Gamescom, it will be mental. I saw signs "Queueing time from here: 4 hours" and more, the longest I saw was 6 hours - but nobody queued there, strangely enough!
I did queue for 1 game (Firefall) to test the PvP arena fight, which was about 30-40 minutes wait. The test took maybe 20-30 minutes. Was fun, even though I did not really know what was going on :)
As a boy, since I was wearing glasses and couldn't play for peanuts, I was always put in goal. I'd still managed to decide matches in a similar fashion to this! :)
